Yorkshire & Humber Fraud Forum (YHFF) does not capture and store any personal information about clients when they access this website, except where clients choose to give us their personal details via e-mail, enquiries or registering to access member only services through our website. In these cases, the personal information given to us is used by YHFF for providing current and future information about YHFF and associated projects, products and services and any other services described in this website.
YHFF as a whole take privacy very seriously. We promise to do all we can to protect clients privacy and their legal rights.
Any personal information supplied to YHFF via this website will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (including any further amendments) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. If clients provide personal information via this website they will be told what the information they provide will be used for before the information is submitted to YHFF.
YHFF work with fraud prevention organisations, and we may share information with those organisations to enable client queries to be answered effectively, or for marketing purposes.
Clients Legal Rights
YHFF is committed to delivering the rights that the Data Protection Act 1998 provides to individuals. Amongst these is the right to object to personal information being used for direct marketing. If we want to send marketing information to clients by electronic media, we will ask for their consent before we do so.

YHFF sends cookies to clients PC’s from this website. Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to a user’s computer's hard disk for record keeping purposes. Cookies can make the web more useful by storing information about user’s preferences on particular sites, thus enabling website owners to provide more useful features for their users.
YHFF uses cookies and tracking software to monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage in order to develop the design and layout of the site to better meet the needs of visitors to the site. This will include non-specific data such as mouse-movements and pages visited.
Should clients wish to restrict the data that we collect through our tracking software, they can alter their cookie settings in their internet browser.
Dispute Resolution
Any errors in the information held by YHFF will be corrected as soon as practically possible. Clients should please email admin@yhff.org if they believe they have submitted incorrect information.
