Membership of the Yorkshire and Humber Fraud Forum (YHFF) is open to all businesses and public sector organisations that have an interest in economic crime, fraud detection and prevention across Yorkshire and the Humber.
Membership of the YHFF offers a number of benefits including reduced prices for sponsored events such as the annual conference and various Master Classes. In addition, some Master Classes will also be provided free to members. YHFF also aims to utilise the expertise of its membership to provide free awareness sessions for SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) within the region. Full details of events, Master Classes and related activities can be found on the events page.
In taking up membership of the YHFF you will be joining an organisation that is affiliated to National Federation of Fraud Forums, and other regional fraud forums throughout the UK. The current membership includes major PLC's, financial institutions, government organisations and other regional bodies.
Fraud affects all manner of business types no matter how large or small and only by coming together to share ideas, strategies and best practice can we hope to reduce the effects of criminal activity. An FSA publication entitled "Firms' High-level Management of Fraud Risk" endorses membership of Fraud Forums and similar organisations as being an item of best practice.
